A fairly terrible photo, but under all the junk and crap is a beautifully blackened (patina) steel fireplace, accented with carriage bolts and darker strips between the panels. This monster is 5’ wide and 8’ tall!

Best guess: ~17,500 aluminum cans, crushed into 1’x2’x6” cubes. These are going to be resin coated and turned into a ‘brick’ wall for Science World.

This enormous mobile was commissioned by Damien Moppet for a recent show. Made entirely of aluminum, this is actually only 1/3 of the final product, which was later painted white and red.
